BUENOS AIRES, December 2 (DS) - The 2002 World Cup draw, held yesterday, reveled much that can be considered remarkable. A fight with no compromise in all the groups is expected. However, a special interest attracts Group "F", in which the national teams of Argentina, England, Nigeria and Sweden are included.
On the above draw their comments state Argentinean mess media:
Clarin: The fortune didn't smile at the national team and they appeared in the "group of death". It is the most unexpected and unpredictable group of the Mundial.
Ole: Thanks FIFA. It couldn't give a better present. All the forces will be mobilized, as no team is a present.
La Nacion: Our national team will have to take three most difficult exams. The England national team are at their height, and perform powerful, spectacular play. A hard fight is awaiting us. This is the most difficult group of the WC.
El Litoral: We have appeared in the most difficult group, while the Brazilians are in the easiest one. Argentina is the main favourite in the Mundial and we have to from the very beginning prove the reasonability of our pretensions.
La Capital: We should expect such an outcome. A classical rival, but hardly a desired one. In any case we have to play and prove our superiority.
