ROME, May 24 (DS) - Italy international and Roma striker Vincenzo Montella commented about his Argentinean team-mate Batistuta:

"Batistuta will be the hero of the World Cup.

"I am very happy for him and I wish him good luck for the upcoming Mundial. This season was not the best for him in Roma but I am confident he'll score fantastic goals next season."

The Italian player said he considers Argentina national team to be not only World Cup favorites, but also a very serious rival he would prefer to face in the final.

"I think it will be very advantageous for Italy to play Argentina in the final match. France usually cause discomfort and I would obviously prefer to face Argentina in the final," Montella added.
