CORDOBA, January 5 (DS) - Argentinean international forward Claudio Lopez has announced that he prefers Hernan Crespo to Gabriel Batistuta for partnership.

He also stated that they have no reason to fear in the 2002 World Cup. Although Lopez sympathizes his Lazio teammate Crespo, he has declared about his great relations with Batistuta.

"We don't fear of any rivals. We believe in ourselves," the forward said. Lopez opined about the fact that his side is included in the group of death: "It is not important. We must beat all our rivals to become the World Champion. Yes, we are in a difficult group, but our rivals are likely to face much more difficulties than we."

Lopez also reflected on his former club Racing who held the title of Apertura champion: "I am proud that Racing became the Argentinean champion. With this victory my former side gladdened their fans, who are always with their beloved team." dailysoccer.
