Posing is something 29-year-old Batistuta does very well, he worked as a
model for Armani before. If we should believe the stories on the net,
that life full of glamour and attention stands opposite to the life he
deep in his heart wants to live. In Reconquista, north of Buenos Aires,
he has a large cattle ranch. His father runs it, but as soon as he quits
soccer he will return there. Because, as he says himself, "Outside the
field I'm actually pretty boring, I just love spending time at home with
my family".
Other personal news: on the day of the match he has two
eggs, bacon, toast and tea, he always wears his lucky t-shirt under his
club uniform and his personal hero is fellow Argentinian Mario Kempes.
