ARGENTINA, (La Nacion, 12/10/99) -- Tonight the Argentine team takes off to Cordoba, where they

El plantel argentino viaja esta tarde a Córdoba, donde mañana
enfrentará a Colombia. El técnico Marcelo Bielsa, que ya
tendría el equipo titular, ensayó con dos delanteros: Ortega
y Batistuta.
La desafectación del lateral izquierdo de River, Juan Pablo
, del plantel de la Selección fue lo más importante de
lo que aconteció ayer en Ezeiza, donde se encuentra
concentrado el equipo argentino para enfrentar mañana a
Colombia en el estadio mundialista de Córdoba. La medida fue
adoptada por el cuerpo técnico debido a la persistencia de la
talalgia (lesión en el talón) en el pie derecho del jugador,
quien continuará con el tratamiento de recuperación en su
club.
El plantel viajará hoy a las 19 a Córdoba en un vuelo charter
que partirá desde el Aeropuerto Internacional de Ezeiza, y a
las 21 está prevista una conferencia de prensa en el hotel
Sheraton de esa provincia.
Algunas pistas sobre el equipo: el DT Marcelo Bielsa ensayó
ayer por la tarde, de 16.45 a 18.15, distintas variantes de
ataque contra una formación del Sub 20 en la que en el arco
estaba Roberto Bonano. El equipo que atacaba estaba integrado
por Sensini, Ayala, Samuel; Claudio Husain, Simeone, Zanetti;
Verón, Guglielminpietro; Ortega y Batistuta. Ese sería el
probable equipo para enfrentar a Colombia.
También participaron del trabajo Sebastián Méndez, Nelson
Vivas, Guillermo Barros Schelotto y Juan Esnaider, quienes
irían al banco junto al juvenil arquero de River, Franco
Costanzo.
Nada librado al azar. Fiel a su costumbre, Bielsa detuvo
varias veces la práctica haciendo hincapié en lo que
pretendía en las maniobras de ataque. Guglielminpietro, quien
jugaría arrancando de tres cuartos de cancha por el sector
izquierdo y Verón, haciendo otro tanto por derecha, serían
quienes tendrían la obligación de alimentar la sed de gol de
Batistuta ---- especialmente -- y del Burrito Ortega. Aunque,
se sabe, ambos también tendrán que aportar su dinámica en el
ida y vuelta.
Como Bielsa no quiere un equipo "largo", también trabajó en
el acople en ataque de Claudio Husain, subiendo por derecha,
y de Javier Zanetti, haciendo otro tanto por el costado
izquierdo.
El entrenador también puso énfasis en el trabajo con pelota
detenida. Gabriel Batistuta y Juan Sebastián Verón probaron a
Bonano en tiros libres con una barrera metálica. Roberto
Ayala fue el encargado de ejecutar los lanzamientos libres
sin barrera.
Terminada la práctica, Bielsa reunió a los jugadores en el
centro de la cancha y charló con el plantel durante unos 15
minutos. Luego de la cena el cuerpo técnico iba a decidir si
antes de la partida a Córdoba el plantel realizaba hoy un
turno fuerte o dos dobles turnos cortos y livianos.
El futuro con los extranjeros: ayer trascendió que esta
semana el DT de la Lazio, Sven Goran Eriksson, iba a
comunicarse con Bielsa para ponerse de acuerdo en las futuras
cesiones de Sensini, Almeyda, Simeone y Verón.
Conversaciones de este tipo ya realizó el entrenador
brasileño Wanderley Luxemburgo con el técnico del Inter,
Marcelo Lippi, por la cesión de Ronaldo.
