'Batistuta could be designated captain.'

HOENDERLOO -Si bien Marcelo Bielsa prefirió pecar de precavido antes de anunciar a los titulares que se medirán el miércoles próximo con Holanda, el técnico dijo: "Si jugáramos hoy, el equipo celeste sería el titular, pero no lo quiero confirmar, porque si luego tomo una decisión contraria, que está dentro de las posibilidades, quedaría sujeto a esta afirmación, y eso es lo que quiero evitar".

Entonces, el equipo que jugaría en el estadio Arena sería:

Y el capitán?, ayer, los jugadores se reunieron con el preparador físico Luis Bonini y entre todos eligieron a Batistuta. El delantero reemplazaría a Eduardo Berizzo, que fue el capitán en los partidos con Venezuela y México, el mes último. Aunque Bielsa tendrá la última palabra.

Hoy, la delegación dejará el Residence Victoria y viajará en ómnibus a las afueras de Amsterdam, donde vivirá los días previos al match con los holandeses. Anoche se adelantó una hora en Holanda. Por eso, el comienzo del partido para la Argentina será a las 15.30 (las 20.30 local) y no a las 16.30.
