Eleven that could be the ones

March 27th, 99

Hoenderloo, Holland (Clarin 25/3/99) -- 'Short but intense', l9 minutes in the morning and 17 minutes in the afternoon, helped Bielsa to begin delineating the group of men that will encounter Holland on Wednesday in the Amsterdam Stadium. Roa; Ayala, Pochettino; Zanetti, Vivas; Redondo; Veron (either on left or right); Ortega at the back of Batistuta and Piojo Lopez.

Bielsa will use the same tactics as Passarella but with one difference. Ortega will play as another stricker coming from the right.

The above eleven mentioned players were the ones he took first to the pitch in the morning session. Doing the same in the afternoon. Even though he hasn't said this will be the eleven, we could surely say this are the ones with the most chances.

"I'm working with two teams. Any of the 22 players could have a place in the final selection. There also could be changes in positions.

Bizzarri; Lussenhoff, Pellegrino, Siviero; Lombardi, Pineda; Cagna, K. Gonzalez; Guglielminpietro, Crespo and Gustavo Lopez form the second team.

Bielsa wearing a blue hat and his book under his arm, did not stop talking and giving instructions for the whole six hours of the training (three hours in the morning, three in the afternoon). Don't play so mechanical, he told Zanetti. Remember Ariel, you have to come for the ball. Take it easy' open the pitch....etc.

Ten members of the juvenile team help the first eleven in precision exercises. The players that excell during practice today were: Bati, Ortega & Guly.

"The time we had, says Bielsa, will be enough for the players to understand what we expect and put it to practice."

"The final call will be in six days...."
